Radha Anjali

Radha Anjali is the most well known Bharata Natyam dancer in Austria. She founded the Natya Mandir and has been teaching Bharata Natyam in Vienna for many years. Radha Anjali has been performing in Austria, and other countries, as well as in India with great success. She is a disciple of Kama Dev, Adyar K. Lakshman, Kalanidhi Narayanan and Shashadar Acharya for Seraikella Chhau.
Radha Anjali’s style of teaching as well as her approach to dance productions are experimental. They are marked by dynamics, elegance, and a focus on the essence.

Adyar K. Lakshman

Adyar K. Lakshman is a graduate from the dance academy of Kalakshetra in Chennai, India.
End of the 60s, Adyar Lakshman founded the Bharata Choodamani Academy, his own dance school. His is well known as composer and choreograph, and was honored by the Indian government with many awards.
Adyar K. Lakshmans style of teaching is that of clear lines and spatial concept.

Kalanidhi Narayanan

Kalanidhi Narayanan is the most important exponent of the art of abhinaya in Bharata Natyam. Dancers from other dance styles also like to apply her technique of abhinaya. She started her studies at the age of seven, giving many performances in the following years. She stopped performing after her marriage, only to restart giving lessons after three decades, collecting many awards since then.
Kalanidhi Narayanan’s concept of abhinaya is focussed on the inner self, by which sentiments and emotions can be transported in a very natural way.
